Cover to Cover #3

I've spent the last couple of nights deliberating about my 2011 albums! I'd previously had them separated by child and then a family one! It was always a hassle to identify where new layouts should go and as I'm trying to add more flow into my albums it didn't really help so I have just added all the layouts into 2 albums ( which are already nearly full), 1 album for the first 6 months of the year and one for the last 6 months!

I have left the photos from the birth of my second son in a seperate album as they are specific to him and I've included a layout I made about being a mum to 2 into the main album. I'll probably add a couple more in as I've got tons of photos!

I've also sat with a notepad and pen and writen down anything that needs including to the layouts that are already filled away in the first volume ( the list is huge as I have a habit of half making a page then leaving it and moving on, so thats my aim for this week to get those half done pages finished)!

I've also discovered that I'm going to need to purchase some more 12x12 protectors and save up for more D-ring albums as they make the process so much easier!

I'd love to know how your getting on with finding the gaps and which albums you prefer!

Sounds as if you've been busy Dawn! I realised that Ben's album has posts, so I've had to send for extensions and more page protectors and an album. Hope they'll arrive tomorrow along with the photos :)xxxxx

Your albums are filling up so nicely ... i really struggle to work out where to put things and keep them in order. Gaps? Too many to think about filling!

It's always hard to figure out the best way. I like to have a baby album for each child then after that just family albums. If you take a special vacation, of course, you may want a separate album for that. I know some families keep a holiday album and just add to it each year.
