2nd Sept- day two of Lsned

Wow, what a night last night, I don't want to repeat that in a hurry! Little Man woke up after Mr Bundle had done back to sleep at 3.30am and didn't go back to sleep till about 5.30am. So I ended up having about 4 hours of broken sleep, the joy of kids eh!

Today was a good day, we visited a friend and her daughter who's just celebrated her 3rd birthday, she loved the book we got her and wanted to read and put the pieces in their places staright away, her mum liked the clothes and said she almost picked the dress up at the shop a few days before. Her cat loved the gift bag!Little Man enjoyed playing in her playhouse in the yard and with all her new toys. I've got to dig out his fire engine as he loved playing with hers.

Little Man-
lesson learnt- you like space to play and some one to one time. You love everything matching!
Callum had a play with his duplo this afternoon and made these towers completely by himself, he has a thing about matching the colours and tells himself no if he goes to put it in the wrong place.

He has just started saying see saw which he said tonight when playing with this duplo piece!
He also loves jigsaws, these just line up, he's great a spending time looking for the correct piece.

He saw this piece and immediatly said "cow". he also spotted the blue square and said "balloon". He tries to say lots of the other words too.

This was his tea tonight and unbelievalby he ate the lot, I think him having his main meal at lunchtime is working, Think I'm going to have to make some batches of food & freeze it so we can eat our main meal at lunchtime and Clive can have his later.
One of your favourite programmes to watch, I've started letting you watch CBeebies for 1 hour or just slightly more before bed to try and help you wind down, it seems to be working as you know when it's finished at 7pm then it's bedtime.
1of about 6 books we read before bed tonight, you love these minature ones
Chlling out together, you playing with Connor's hair as usual

Mr Bundle
Lesson learnt- to not feed you as soon as you start eating your hand, you waited about 1 hour today before being really hungry.

always trying to eat your hand, just a few more days and we'll try baby rice.
 In the bumboo
You always manage to push yourself off the mat, your legs are so strong!
 Look at that Grin!

I took a lovely video of me singing Row, row, row your boat which seems to be a favourite of yours at the moment, but I won't subjest my lovely blog readers to that.

My album

Lesson learnt- I like clear countertops!

Goals from yesterday,
clean the left countertop - done
finish layout - still to do

other things achieved- cleared cupboard of out of date foods and put food from shelf unit into cupboard, cleaned outside of microwave.

Goals for tomorrow - clear top of cupboard on left and finish shelf unit
finish layout

Lsned has started!!!

Today being the 1st September heralds the start of class for lots of Shimelle lovers, me included.
I'm doing 3 albums this year, 1 for each of the kids and 1 for myself.

Here are my favourites from the photos taken today
For Little Man

For Mr Bundle

To top off a good day, my lovely husband video'd the 2 of them playing. You've got to love the giggles between them!

Mine's going to be more goals based to try and get my life on track. I have a few lessons I've learnt today- I love the sun especially when I can get 3 loads of washing dry, It feels good to organise the storage containers in the kitchen and how much I enjoy having creative time. So to move forward my goal for tomorrow will be to finish clearing the counter top on the left of the kitchen and to finish the layout I started today!
My husband took this lovely photo out in the garden today, so think I'll use it for today's page!

What have you learnt today!
