February Blog Hop

Welcome to my first Blog Hop, I've been following the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog since January when I first heard about it and this month have decided to participate by making up a kit myself and taking part in the blog hop.
Visit the Counterfeit Blog here for the start of the hop and to find out more details about the Challenge and Hop.

The Hop is based upon this sketch provided by Scraps of Darkness
Here is my layout - it's very different from my usual style but it's a style I've been wanting to try for a while just never had the inspiration nor the stash sorted the the point where I could do such a layout. Thats the great thing about these kits, using your own stash but having it all together makes it so much more accessible and allows more creativity in my opinion.

The only stash I used that wasn't in my kit was foam dots, a couple of brads and some aurora borealis rhinestones on the large butterfly.
I gutted all the papers too so I've got loads left and I haven't used any of my add on kit either. I can see loads of layouts being made for my wedding album!
Thanks for visiting my blog and for the feedback left, it's very welcome!

Debbie is next in the blog hop, can't wait to see what she's produced. Visit her blog here to see!

February's Counterfeit Kit

Having watched the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog since January I decided to play along this month!
Here's what I came up with, I used the basic concept to make up my kit but used my own colours. This month's kit was based on Love so I've made a kit suitable for scrapping my Wedding photos.
Main Kit
Papers

                                                          Embellishments
                                                         Journalling cards
                                                             Cardstock
                                                             Add On Kit
The Mini Book in the post below was made using the kit, but I've yet to fill it with photos and embellish the inside.
Let me know if your playing along too.

I might even go back and see if I can create a kit based on January's theme!
Just need to spend some more time scrapping, really determined to find a routine that fits in hobby time as well as household chores, any tips would be appreciated!
